Tileset Forge turns a raw tilesheet into ready-to-use tilemap resources — and it runs entirely in your browser. Nothing is uploaded, nothing leaves your device.
Setting up a TileSet in the Godot editor is a click-fest: register every tile, draw collision, paint terrain bits one by one. Tileset Forge does it for you and hands you a drop-in .tres.
What it does
- Auto-slice any tilesheet — it auto-detects the tile size, and you fine-tune tile W/H, margin, spacing & offset with a live numbered grid.
- Tile inspection — hover for the atlas coord, auto-dim empty tiles, flag pixel-identical duplicates.
- Per-tile collision — full-cell squares or a tight box fitted to each tile's opaque pixels, written into the TileSet.
- Autotile terrain — map tiles onto a 16-tile (Match Sides) or 47-tile blob template; peering bits are written from the template, so any layout maps correctly.
- Dual-grid — wire up the 16 dual-grid tiles and export a Godot TileSet plus a ready DualGridTileMap.gd that renders the offset grid for you.
